APRO Building Material was founded in 2015. What began as an integrated business supporting aluminum windows, doors, facades and related architectural projects has developed into a clearer specialist structure for international project delivery.

WHY WE STARTED

Built Around a Practical Belief

APRO Building Material began with a practical belief: architectural products should not be treated as isolated items. A successful window, door or facade package depends on how well design intent, technical details, manufacturing and installation requirements are connected.
For Jason Lau, Founder & General Manager, the idea behind APRO grew from seeing how inadequate windows can affect comfort, safety and everyday living. With more than 15 years of industry and project experience, that early observation developed into a wider purpose: to help project teams make better product decisions and connect technical requirements with responsible production and delivery.
In its early years, the company developed window, door and facade activities within one integrated organization. Working with international architectural projects created a foundation in product coordination, engineering development, production, quality control and delivery.

APRO Building Material Founded

The company began developing aluminum windows, doors, facades and related project services within one integrated business structure.

2019

Outdoor Living Became a Specialist Focus

PROGOLAS developed as the specialist brand for outdoor shading and outdoor living systems.

2025

A Clearer Specialist Portfolio

APRO focused on project-based windows and doors, while existing facade experience was consolidated under FOWALL.

2025

Strategic Manufacturing Cooperation

Cooperation with DM Aluminum connected relevant projects with established upstream aluminum manufacturing resources.

Project-Based Windows and Doors

Within this specialist structure, APRO focuses on project-based aluminum windows and doors, together with related aluminum railings and partitions. We work with developers, contractors, architects, dealers and project owners to coordinate product configurations around drawings, openings, performance requirements, glazing, hardware, finishes and installation interfaces.
Our role continues to be project-focused: connecting technical decisions with production and delivery requirements within the agreed scope.
