Project-Based Window & Door Manufacturing
A project window and door package brings together materials, technical details, manufacturing and delivery requirements. APRO connects these decisions through a coordinated production process—from aluminum profiles and glass to fabrication, inspection, packing and shipment preparation.
01 · Materials
Aluminum, glass and components are selected to suit your design, performance requirements and project budget.
Profile systems and finishes are selected for your design. Materials are checked and organized before fabrication.
Tempered, laminated or insulating glass can be specified for safety, comfort and appearance, with configurations matched to your window and door system.
Hinges, rollers, locks, gaskets and sealing materials are coordinated with the system and its intended operation. Preparing compatible components helps carry the agreed specification into assembly.
For Your Project Coordinate profile systems, glazing, finishes and hardware around your drawings, performance requirements and architectural intent.
02 · Before Batch Production
Production preparation connects the current drawing revision with product configurations, dimensions, quantities and component requirements. Clear production information gives the team a common reference before work moves into batch production.
For project orders, first-sample or first-article checks focus on the details that need to be confirmed early. Depending on the system, these may include dimensions, assembly fit, glazing and hardware configuration, sealing details, opening and locking operation, and visible finish.
Confirm the first-sample checks, any required adjustments and the approval steps for your order before batch production. Internal checks and any agreed customer sample approval are separate steps.
Detail sequence Check the Current Revision → Build the Sample → Inspect Key Details → Review Adjustments → Confirm Release
For Your Project Use a representative sample to review the configurations and assembly details that matter to your order.
03 · Fabrication & Assembly
Window and door fabrication involves connected operations: cutting and machining profiles, assembling frames and sashes, fitting components, and completing the glazing and sealing work required by the system and delivery arrangement.
Work areas, material flow, production instructions and protection of work in progress help keep these operations organized. The relevant system details guide fabrication and assembly, while product identification supports handovers between stages.
For Your Project Fabrication follows the selected opening type, dimensions, configuration and confirmed technical details.
04 · Quality Management
Our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system provides the management framework for the production and sales activities described in the certificate and site attachment.
Quality checks connect the agreed requirements with the product being made. Incoming material checks, in-process inspections and finished-unit checks address different points along the production route.
Relevant checks may cover dimensions, assembly condition, glass and hardware configuration, surface appearance, sealing details and operation. The inspection priorities, acceptance requirements and any records needed for the order are agreed during project planning.
Factory production checks and third-party performance testing serve different purposes. Where a test report is relevant to a project, its product, configuration and scope need to match the requirement being reviewed.
For Your Project Agree the inspection priorities and the production records needed for your package.
05 · Identification & Storage
Identification helps connect products with their project requirements as they move through production and storage. Product references, inspection status and storage arrangements support clear handovers and preparation for dispatch.
Where agreed, project labels can be organized around building, floor, opening or unit references. Materials, components and finished products are stored with appropriate separation and protection, then checked against the dispatch requirements.
For Your Project Discuss the references your receiving and installation teams use, so labeling and dispatch information can be planned around them.
06 · Packing & Packing Lists
Packing is planned around the product configuration, handling requirements and transport arrangement. Protection may include suitable wrapping, edge and corner protection, support frames or crates, according to the agreed packing method.
Agree the package references, contents and quantities to include in your packing list. Clear dispatch information helps the receiving team identify shipments, check quantities and plan onward distribution.
Detail sequence Protect the Product → Identify the Package → Check Contents and Quantities → Reconcile the Packing List
For Your Project Coordinate packing formats, labels and shipment grouping with your delivery and receiving plan.
07 · Shipment Preparation
Shipment preparation brings together packed goods, dispatch information and the loading arrangement. Loading order, placement, support and restraint are considered in relation to the products and shipment plan.
Discuss the loading photographs, container and seal details, and shipment documents needed for your delivery plan before dispatch.
For Your Project Discuss phased shipments and receiving priorities early, so packing and loading arrangements can be coordinated with the agreed programme.
Plan Your Production
The project may involve choices across systems, dimensions, glass, finishes, hardware, labels and packing. Options are reviewed for technical compatibility and confirmed scope. Changes after approval need to be reviewed against production progress, materials and schedule.
The checks depend on the system and purpose of the sample. They may cover dimensions, configuration, assembly details, operation and appearance. Any customer approval or performance testing is agreed separately.
Discuss the required inspection, identification, packing and shipment information during project planning. The available records and their format are confirmed for the order.
Share your opening schedule, building or floor references and receiving plan early. Suitable labeling and packing arrangements can then be reviewed alongside the product package and delivery requirements.
The first container typically requires around 40 days. The schedule is agreed according to project volume and requirements, with timing for subsequent containers coordinated as part of the delivery plan. The starting milestone and shipment arrangements are confirmed for the order.
